# Sentinow + Slack AI Workflows

Trigger test runs and share results inside Slack AI workflows — coming soon

**Category**: AI & MCP
**Type**: Webhook

## Overview

Sentinow is extending its Slack bot to support Slack AI Workflows. Build automated testing pipelines inside Slack — trigger runs on schedule or on event, then post results and escalate failures automatically.

Chain Sentinow steps with other Slack workflow steps for fully automated QA pipelines without writing code or leaving Slack.

Slack AI Workflows extends the existing Sentinow Slack integration. If you already use @sentinow for notifications, this adds automated workflow steps on top.

## Features

- Custom Slack workflow steps: Trigger run, Get results, Get release readiness
- Combine Sentinow steps with any Slack workflow trigger
- Schedule test runs from Slack Workflow Builder
- Post results and escalate failures automatically
- No code required — build automations in Slack's visual editor
- Extends the existing Sentinow Slack bot

## Use Cases

### Scheduled nightly test runs from Slack

Build a Slack workflow that triggers the regression suite at midnight and posts a pass/fail summary to #qa-alerts every morning. Configured once in Workflow Builder — no code, no cron job.

### Pre-deploy quality gate in Slack

Build a Slack workflow triggered by a message in your #deployments channel. It checks Sentinow release readiness and posts a thumbs up or blocks the deploy request — all inside Slack.

### Automated escalation on failure

Build a workflow that triggers a Sentinow run and, if it fails, pages the on-call engineer with a direct message. The whole flow — run, check, escalate — happens inside Slack without human intervention.
